Compliance
Regulatory compliance disclosures for Prentiss Connect broadband service.
Prentiss Connect is operated by Prentiss County Electric Power Association (PCEPA), a rural electric cooperative and telecommunications provider regulated by the FCC and the Mississippi Public Utilities Staff. This page summarizes our key regulatory obligations.
FCC Open Internet Rules
Prentiss Connect complies with FCC Open Internet transparency requirements. We do not block, throttle, or engage in paid prioritization of lawful internet traffic. Our Network Management Policy describes our practices in detail.
Broadband Label Disclosure
As required by the FCC’s Broadband Consumer Labels rules, we publish a standardized label for each service plan that discloses pricing, speeds, data policies, and network management practices. Labels are available on the Rates page.
Emergency Services (E911)
Prentiss Connect does not provide voice telephone service and is not subject to E911 VoIP obligations. If you use a third-party VoIP provider over our network, please verify that provider’s E911 capabilities and limitations.
CPNI Compliance
We file an annual CPNI compliance certification with the FCC pursuant to 47 C.F.R. § 64.2009(e). Our CPNI Policy describes subscriber rights and our data-handling procedures.
Lifeline Program
PCEPA participates in the federal Lifeline program, which provides a monthly discount on broadband service to qualifying low-income households. See the Lifeline page for eligibility requirements and application details.
Accessibility
We are committed to making our services and this website accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us so we can assist you and work to improve our services.
Reporting and Transparency
Regulatory inquiries and compliance-related correspondence may be directed to PCEPA, Attention: Compliance Officer, P.O. Box 489, Booneville, MS 38829, or by email to info@pcepa.com.
